If you miss it here, you can still go to Europe next month. On the 4th day of the 5th month there, it will be 04/05/06 'cause they typically do their dates as day/month/year.

Probably not worth the trip for that alone though...

I think Canada has that same date system.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not such thing as a Canada date system
In Canada, you can find several versions of time stamping on receipts,etc.
2006/04/03
2006/03/04
03/04/2006
04/04/2006
03/04/06
04/03/06
06/04/03
06/03/04
It depends entirely on the business which format you use.
off topic: I totally get confused reading foreign financial figures. For $1 million, they'd write $1.000.000. That's just so weird to me
Interesting.
I remember filling out a form for a single day fishing license in Cananda; the date system back then in the early 80's was D-M-Y.
what about 12:34 on May 6th? 12:34 05/06/06 (12:34 on May 6th 2006)
or 6:06(AM and PM!) on 06/06/06 (June 6th 2006)
or we could go reverse it:
10:09 on 08/07/06 (August 7th 2006)
or kinda weird for tommorow, 0:02:02 on 04/04/06 (Midnight and 2 minutes and 2 seconds on April 4th 2006)
or for the beer lovers - BEER DAY 12:24 on 24/12/06 (you got your CASE, your FLAT, followed by another FLAT, followed by another CASE, and to wash it down a HALF-SACK(local Canadian slang for six-pack, eh?)
All will then be right in the universe. I will then be pensively waiting for 234567. Sounds like the makings of an annual get together.
And the Brits drive me nuts when they say "one thousand million" instead of "one billion"...
