Getting back to the original question, I would suggest some sort of rear bumber, tail lights from a truck stop ( They have small brackets that can screwed on for cheap), mudflaps ( run a 2x4 accross the rear frame and tie it down good and tack on some old flaps- check your local truck stop if there is one near and look on the very back row where there is a curb is. when trucks back in they sometimes tear of there flaps, can also be used to nail the tail lights to) that "should" pacify any inspector.

Yea I was going to get some trail lights from a trailer and do the wiring (to be eletrical enigneer) but Ive been thinking about the mud flaps thing I need to have them even after I pass and take the bed off cause I hate trailor less traitors hittin the asfault at 70 on the high way
