"droppin'" a '68
O.k. guys, I need some help. What is the best way to drop a '68 f-250? I sure like the "in the weeds" look! And don't say "heat the springs" because I sure don't want to go that route! :-) Am I better off just scrapping that thought and trying to find a decent F-100 to build up? And any particular brands of components that you can give me would be great. Thanks in advance!

A set of drop I beams in front. New shackles and hangers in the rear. I can't think of the names of the different companies right now but there are a few out there. There is a company that makes a I beam replacement called the DREAM BEAM. It is acctually a round tube. It is considered inferior to the I-Beam lowered beams out there. The shackles and hanger should provide about 3-4" drop. I think Beams are around the same.

Finding a decent F-100 sounds like a good idea to me. The F-250 suspension was beefier and components for lowering that I have seen mostly say they are for F-100 2WD
