What a great site! Just found it today while cruisin for info on a 460 motor. I have a 72 f 250 428 auto Camper Special (250k mi) that I've driven for 18 years, and have found a 92 F 250 xlt with 460 auto. Checkin' for mileage figures...they look about the same. Looks like I'll step up in a couple of weeks. I don't want to rush into things......
Welcome CLittle. Nice to see another Ford truck owner coming to FTE, this is one of my favorite years (53/6 & 67/72) and with the 428 it is awesome. What are the plans for 72 after the 92 comes on the scene?

I'm still pretty attached to it. I've tried replacing it a couple of times, but wouldn't. I'm the second owner and it's still in good shape, but the motor is tired . I'll probably just take my time getting it back up to snuff. In other words.... another project
The 92 is a trade for work sort of deal that I couldn't pass up.

Glad to hear you are keeping, I would after all these years. I sold my 67 Musatng f/b after owning it for 12 years and 4 years later I was able to buy it back. Even with the extra $ I had to pay to get it was worth every penny.

We are happy to have you! There is a ton of great info on this site. But, before you go snooping around there are a few things you need to do first.
