Will the Toyo MT 33x12.5R20 fit on the factory 20's and factory suspension? They are 33.0 inches tall by 12.6 inches wide. THe factory ones are roughly 31.9 inches tall.

I was just coming in to ask you which wheels you have when I noticed this new post. My guess would be that your wheels wouldn't be wide enough for those tires.
Check out the Toyo website. They may have a listing of what rim widths are required for a particular tire.
I thought you said in your earlier post that you weren't going to go too aggressive on tires. The Toyo MT's are pretty aggressive looking to me.
Your actual wheel width will be shown on the plate on the door frame if you don't already know it.
I am looking more at the 33x12.5R20 size then the actual tire. Although I love the tire. I do all highway driving so it wouldn't be worth the money to me. I looked and the door says the 20's are 8.5 inches wide, so they should handle a 33x12.5. Now how long do you have to wait for the wife to allow you to get new tires after buying a new truck??????
1. Point out to her that generally the original tires on these trucks are junk.
2. If you have kids use the sad story about how you do not want her and the kids subjected to the risky business of running on substandard tires.
3. Remind her that in order to get the maximum trade value from your original tires they need to look like new.
4. Remember next time to get the new tires included in the deal like I did! Much easier to hide from the wife.
If any of these "strategies" happen to work take a look at the Toyo Open Country AT's. They offer a pretty good compromise tread pattern and seem to last reasonably well. Don't hestitate to contact a Toyo rep. I was in contact with one here in Canada when I was buying my truck and he was very helpful.
