T-case issue..I think?

I have a "clunk" coming from my truck. Not U-joints, but its int he rear. When I get under it and rotate my driveshaft, inside of hte slip yoke area there's a clunk/clink as it rotates back and forth a little bit. It's always had that "slop" a bit back and forth, but never used to make the noise. It does it when i first accelerate and the truck has had time to "coast", or switching from reverse to first gear. M5OD tranny, btw. Is it bearings? Or do I need to lube the slip shaft or something?

Also, should fluid bubble out of the T-case when I openthe plug? I opened it and I can feel it on my finger, but I had a kid say it should gush out a little bit.

I think the kid is wrong, How would you fill it correctly if it needs to bubble out? Try looking for some grease fittings on the rear axle, Without any grease, these can make the yokes clunk.

Look around the yokes. There should either be a grease fitting, which looks like a little nipple on the end of one of the yokes. You may have to spin them around to find it. Get a grease gun and go to town until the grease starts to ooze out around the fittings. Then you're fine. If you're still not sure I'll take some pics of mine and post 'em.
