I have a stock 302 ('71) in my early Bronco now, and am also building a stroker to replace it some time next year. Definitely for the new motor I will have an electronic ignition system, so I'm thinking about upgrading my old/current motor at this time as well. A few questions:
1) What is the difference between the Duraspark and the II and III?
2) Which should I go with?
3) Besides the wire harness, coil, and ignition module, what do I need in terms of distributor parts...do I need an entirely new distributor?
Yes, you will need a duraspark distributor. Your best bet is to grab everything off a donor vehicle. If you don't trust the distributor use it as a core.
