mask help

Hello
I was wondering if someone could recommend a good reasonably priced mask or respirator. I am grinding panel welds and some surface rust. Is there something at like Autozone or a store like that or can you tell me a better place to get something fairly descent.
Thanks alot.

yeah i agree , don't buy those cheap paper masks . go with the best you can afford they will be alot cheaper than new lungs lol. i use a 3m mask that is made for brake dust . if i remember they are less than $20.00.

home depo- lowes-ace etc- usually in paint, safety or tool area. I use a 3m double canister cost 30 and the filters cost 18 or so to replace. They have a biological component that also helps with some fumes- not good for urethane....the label explains it. fit is important but you usually have to buy it first.

You can also get some thicker paper masks that are rated for what you are doing- i like the canisters myself.
