Hey Everybody,
I live in Decatur, Illinois and just joined the chapter. I currently have a 1996 F-150 but just got back from the local Ford dealer because I'm looking for a used truck. I gotta tell you, they didn't seem real helpful... I'm looking for a 2002-2005 F-250 SuperCab, 4x4, V10, 4.56 rear, and towing package. I've been researching and am going with a 6" lift and 37" tires. I don't think they're too used to dealing with somebody like me who knows exactly what they want in a used truck. They tried to sell me a F250 diesel... I wasn't filled with optimism on getting what I want but I'm patient.
I suspect the rearend will be the most difficult to find... Does anybody have a recommendation on good place to get new gears near my area? What cost range am I looking at to go from a 3.73 to 4.56?
