L/S studs are in. Removed 2 L/S motor mount nuts and 2 trans mount nuts. Jacked trans as high as I could (ahead of cross member), trimed insulation on fire wall, placed stud in hole, (with large pry bar) pryed between exhaust manifold and frame and the rear stud dropped right in.
I've got new injector o-rings to install and want to get this side done before I start the other. I'll keep you posted.

Yeh Kwik allen in the top. One side is done, injectors in. Probably do the other side tomorow. I will not have a turbo until next week so I'm in no hurry.

if found the easiest way to install them is to blow your engine and put em in when you rebuild the new one
, i had to convince the import guy across the street that it was infact a diesel, he says theres no reason to have head studs in a diesel, they cant make enough power to need them he told me. he has no idea what hes talking about when it comes to cars, just what he seen on import shows, a few months ago he told me i was lying about having a v-8 diesel (he was trying to look smart in front of his new girlfriend) "they only make 4 cyl diesels even in semis, my uncle woks on them" the funny thing was, is that he was leaning on my front fender and i pointed down at the POWERSTROKE DIESEL V-8 badge and he shut his mouth. he has no idea that i work on them everyday, or that i know anything about cars. i love to play stupid with him

Finished r/s today. It wasn't as bad as I expected. Jacking the motor gave me the space needed but was still tight. I think this way would take less time than raiseing the cab.
