Remember this: The front portion of the truck, from the front bumper to the rear of the cab is is the same dimension wise from '65 to '79. (I know this applies to 2WD, I don't know about 4x4.) You can bolt up power steering, power brakes, transmissions, engines and all between these years, if you use Ford parts.
For example, I put a 460/C-6 into my '66, and it all bolted up by using Ford perches, motor mounts and the like. Didn't have to drill new holes for the motor mounts, even!
So, it appears the tubes you want will fit, if they are for a '65 - '79 F-100 - F-250.
4X2 [aka 2Wd] is exactly the same engine bay 1965 thru' 1979 frame wise. Sheetmetal amongst same models has similar clearance & tolerances generally also.
