I have a FTE shirt but I don't know if I want to get it dirty crawling under a truck changing tires (if any are flat) and attaching the custom made towbar (I've made a towbar that fits a 65-79 front bumper. I hope the truck has a bumper).
5 more days! I guess I can bring some coveralls and I'm going to be wearing one of five Ford hats. It'll probally be the red and black Ford Racing one. I'll have the '91 F-250 ext. filled with tools, towbar, jacks, air tank, tires etc, everything you need to pull a truck home. It would be nice to put a face to the critcally acclaimed Chapter Leader "Fomoko1" aka Morris ______ and maybe Snowking?
This auction was on the news tonight. It is a 3 day auction. It started today and goes til Friday. There is over a 1000 bidders there. They showed an aerial shot of the auction and it was huge. This guy according to the news just farmed and went to auctions and bought stuff and brought them home and stored them. He was a pack rat, but they say he has in over a million dollars worth of stuff.
So the wife better quit teasing me about my pack ratting here. Someday I might leave it all to her.
Those trucks are going to go high there then with all these people from across Canada and the states.
I was there, I saw a guy who I was wondering if it was Fomoko, I wasn't sure and I thought I would look quite stupid asking if it was you Fomoko, if it wasn't you.
The Dodge Cummings sold for 26ish, 28 and 31 hundered. (pretty good for not running and bad bodies.
The most expensive Ford was a 76 3/4 ton 390 4 spd. the body was in extremely good condition except for one nasty box dent. It did not run and sold for either 900 or 925. I thought of going up to five since but the guys who bought tried for several hours but didn't get it going I think that 390 was pouched.
On a average prices were quite fair. For not running parts trucks there were no deals but since the sale I got mine purrin and have heard of two other trucks that got going within 2 days of the sale.
The two 6.9 diesels brought 2 thousand and 22 hundered but both ran alright with fairly good bodies.
I have not a clue why but ALL cement trucks sold ridicoulcly high.
