2 questions....

1963 F-100 stepside- 223- 3spd. lt.duty Ford transmission

1) Is there a way I can tell exactly which clutch I have w/o pulling the transmission? 10in? 10.5in?

2)Has anyone used rebuilt clutch kits from Fort Wayne? )less than half of price new.

Ok, 3 questions-

3) My pressure activated brake light switch bit the dust. I would like to put a switch behind the pedal instead. I know I found a diagram on this sight when I installed ECI front disc kit that showed one. I can't find the post now. Can anyone tell me what switch I should ask for at parts store for easiest fit?

Thanks for all help!

In the infancy stage of learning how to use Ford Truck Master Parts Cat. and as best as I can tell the 232ci engines with lt. duty 3 speeds, 57 thru 64 F100/250, P350/P500, are 10". Looks like the 10.5" was available with 292ci. Use to have a web site where I could cross reference P/N, not sure where it went, Not sure how reliable these P/N's are. Disc. B7c 7550-A, Plate C1AZ 7563-B. Perhaps more knowledgeabe member can provide additional info.

There is an article in the FTE 'article/spec's' forum on 65-72 front disc. conversion not sure it covers brake light switch. Here is a website that does give some points on the brake light switch but not sure if it meet your application. http://www.mongrelmotorsports.homest...f100discs.html Found bookmarking informative post and articles comes in handy for future references.
