Lockouts Greased?
Just curious. Are the stock ESOF 4x4 lockouts suppose to be dry or packed with grease? I removed mine and noticed they rattled quite a bit when I shook'em. I disassembled them and found they were dry with a few small spots of grease. So I greased up the gears, reassembled, and installed. I didn't pack'em with grease, just a finger job. By doing this I got rid of a front end rattle and also a vibration at take off. I tried the ESOF and everything locked up, but I was just wondering if they were designed to be greased.
