My truck pulls ok I just know that it could definantly be better and Im thinking that a regear job will be the best way to go. I asume that by regearing my exhaust temps should drop as well as I won't be lugging it as much and it won't be putting the strain on the tranny that it does now.
Bigtruck1 you are right. There is no substitute for the proper gear ratio for the application. Wanna tow heavy? Get some stump pulling rear axle ratios and all the struggling to climb hills will be over - even with a stock engine.
