bypass nuteral safty switch??
I convered my 1991 f150 over from an automatic to a five speed standard.Need to know how to bypass the nuteral safty switch?Or do I just need to install a starter button on the dash? Thanks Danny

rite the plugs are not the same, i should have said that. when i did mine, i had the luxury of having the wires cut off the harness, so i just connected the proper plugs to the wires to fit the trans.

If you have access to the '95, take the harness connector off of it and install it on the '91 where the atuo was. You may have more issues than this. You may have to install some jumpers and reroute pins on the computer. The manual truck should have what's called a Clutch Interlock Switch that tells the computer when, where and how to start the engine. The Auto used the Manual Lever Position portion of the computer for this. Is the Speed Sensor the same on the Auto? You may have to change this connector also.
