Unhappy Parking it!

To one and all:

Restoring a 66 slick and the previous owner(s) completely removed the parking brake system, DUH!

Aside from the obvious answer of finding a donor truck, anyone know of and or where I might find a new or refurbished parking brake system?

I've "googled" my fingers out to no avail.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can do what I do, and leave it in gear and use a large block of wood under the wheel!

Does it have to be an OEM/ "Box Stock" system? Or would you be open to an upgraded system, like with a pedal actuator instead of a hand actuator etc etc.

Also what wheelbase do you have?

LMC has the OEM setup. Mine has the setup but for some reason the handle keeps turning upside down so that it won't work. it don't know why.

Check some of the big truck salvage yards. They often have a few little trucks stuck in and around also.

Are we to understand that EVERY piece of the parking brake system has been removed. Not just the front cable and handle assembly but all other cables and brake drum parts as well.
