That’s right baby tomorrow I am off to Alamo Lake with my son for our first father son fishing trip. Kind of a new tradition. Also for his birthday which is today either way it is fishing for a 4-day weekend, and to think I tuned down work for this. Oops clumsy me

 

im jealous wish i could go fishing. o well i got a boat to get ready for fishing.

 

I'm headed out to reelfoot lake next weekend myself. Told my grandfather to have the boat ready. I think he's more excited about it than I am.

 

Man thats great,taking my boats down to the marina to get the motors switched over next week,it wont be long now gotta get in the water before I go nuts,I hate winter!

Yesterday I caught about 8 rainbows, and 1 brownie fishing the local river.
One was a fat 18" the other a nice 16" the rest 12-14's.

I missed a couple, and saw qute a few bunched up together. 2 very fat 20-22" that just ignored my spinner.
They must have stocked the river because I saw a couple of other guys hooking up.
I release all of them.
What a 1st day out.
