I had the same problem with my 01. I took it to the dealership [have a friend who works there] and had the codes pulled, it said the problem was the ABS ECU. They ran a diagnostic test, and it was fine, then reset the light. The way they explained it was like a PC, sometimes it just gets a "glitch" and corrects it self. I've had no problems since.

Mine came on once, along with the parking/warning brake light. I drove down the road becuase I knew the brakes were fine, and after about ten miles the brake light went out. I stopped and restarted the truck, the the ABS light was gone, too.
