$1399 retail. Self install is supposedly easy - 30 minutes or so. Local distributor will come do install, but labor rates vary by city. I am seriously considering it, I just wish I could get a feel for how tall over the existing dash height this will be?
My interest is considerably piqued... I called back and the top of the unit will end up about 4" over the top of the dashboard... doesn't seem too obtrusive. Now to get 'the boss' to OK another $1400 on top of the $36K I just dropped on the '06 Lariat...
installation is that easy? My friend installed a Pioneer N1 navigation in his scion and it took over 2 hours. Had to install the brain, mount the antenna, and all sorts of wiring....
the guy talked me through it on the phone... said a tech could/would do it in 10 minutes... he said 20 minutes for an owner that is familair with working on their truck, 30 minutes for someone adept at installing things in general... it is built to replace that tray on the dash, so once you have the cover off the radio/temp controls, you slide out the radio, take off the tray, slide in the nav system, plug it in (there evidently is a straighfroward way to get the power hooked up), side radio back in, and then re-attach cover. Antenna is evidently built into the unit... Now in reality, if this is like any project I do on my house, which should take 30 minutes, but a broken part, the wrong tool, and 3 trips to home depot later, it's 4 hours and my wife is pissed.... ha ha...

Looks like a nice little unit, but the only problem is that then you are stuck with having the nav system in just your truck. I have a Garmin Streetpilot 2620 and it is great. You can take it with in into another vehicle, and also it fits very nicely into the storage compartment in my flowthrough center console. And if memory serves I think it cost $1100 in dec 04. There are pics in my gallery if you want to take a look.
Has Anyone Got The Magellan Nav Or The Railport Blueconnect From Brandmotion??????? I Requested Some Info, And Now They Keep Calling Me Wanting Me To Purchase Both. I Want To See Some More Pics Of The Nav. Unit Before Purchasing.
I am thinking about picking up the Garmin C330. It's less than 1/2 the price (about $500). It has everything I need, and we would be able to move the unit to my wife's car if we decide to take her gas friendly hybrid on a trip... only issue is that i am running out of power points -> one for cell phone, one for radar detector, and one for nav/gps... anyone know how hard it is, or what it would cost to hard wire one of them?

Its very easy. I have a Valentine 1 radar hardwired to my truck and it is tapped onto the ignition. So when the truck is on, the radar is on. Visa versa
