New Toy!!!!

I just picked up my new F150 Supercrew 6.5 ft box tonight!!!! It is a FX4 all white with black leather captians chairs. I LOVE this truck!! It even fits in the garage! The MSRP was $42,000 and I left the dealer for around $31,000 total. I had to buy before th rebates changed. I feel I got a good deal and it only took 2 hours from start to finish. Just wanted to say HI and see you around. I will try and post pics this weekend.

good luck man best wishes with your new f150
just four words of advise on the mods . hold off/play safe.
ford is really cracking down on whats covered and not on moded trucks and cars. as a past service manager. hold off till you are 100% sure you have a good one. beat on it stock see what breaks. then play safe with what you do so they can't go back at you and say this or that caused the problem.
again best wishes a f150 is a nice ride .

Thanks captchas!! I agree about being careful!! My idea of a mod is bedliner, bed cover, and mudflaps for now. I would like to eventually add bigger tires, maybe a 33 inch, but not to aggressive! I think ford did a great job with this truck.

o do i hear you on those items . the bed liner you may want to try and search to find the threads were the fte men have rated the spary in liners from linex and rhino. and the many types of bed covers,
with mine i had no choice but rhino and really can't complain, bed cover i have a extang and hate it. does the job but for one man to roll up it's royal pia. when it's cold again it takes 2 men to snap back down,
the guys have talked many times about better brands i should have listened instead of being cheap .

You said it fit's in your garage, how big is your garage? This was a concern with me I have a 2 car garage that is attached to my house I think it's a 24x24 and my 04 screw barely fits in it.I have to stop it just inside the door to where the door is almost against the rear bumper so there is room to walk in front of it.There's a little room to spare but not much.

Nice ride. Talking about garages... I have an 04 Screw. It barely fits in the garage.... like 1 1/2" in front and 2" in the rear! no way to walk around anywhere! It is so tight that I had to hang one of those park ***** from the ceiling to keep from hitting the wall! I I fart in this truck it will not fit in my garage!

"I I fart in this truck it will not fit in my garage!"
Nice!!!!

When I build my curent house I had an extra 5 ft added to the depth of the garage. If I remeber right it is 25x25. My truck parks on one side an dmy wifes escape and my quad on the other. I have about 6" inthe front and 3' in the back. The truck measures 236" or 19.6 ft. It is close, but having the reverse sensors helps. I just ordered some Husky mud flaps and a rear seat cover for the dogs. The "mods" have started (simple ones). Now I am looking to get the windows tinted. What "color are the back window tint?? I have a friend who got his tinted andf they have a green tint!!! I heard somewhere ours are charcoal?

Thanks,

Nebraska

Any competent tint shop should be able to match up the tint colors. I have to make an appt to get mine and my wifes new rides tinted. Tint masters here is excellent!

I had my 04 screw's front window's tinted right after I got it I just told them that I wanted the front window's to match the factory tint on the rear window's and it turned out great you can't tell any difference.Any reptable tint shop should be able to match them up.
