Dp-tuners
hey, im in the market for a new chip. i have narrowed it down to 2 different companys, DP-Tuner and bully dog. i would like the 6 POS chip. i like the bullydog because its fairly cheap and it had a brand name every 1 knows about. but i like how you can custom make you chip at dp but i dont like the price. so please tell me if you have a bullydog or a dp chip and how you like it. and also any information on what 1 i should get would be great.

I asked the same question a few months ago! I went with a 4 position chip from Dp-tuner, it is a little more custom tuned for your truck. You will find a setting that you like more than the others and wont change it unless you want to mess around. 6 positions is a little much I think. Plus you can make your own high idle control with parts from radio shack. Which ever you choose you will like the added power.

it go with dp tuner. i just have 4 programs i usually only regularly use 2 and occationaly the 3rd and very very rarely the 4th. i think if i was gonna pay for another chip i would probably just get a 2 program chip.

I got a 3 pos fom Tony Wildman. I think that 3 pos is just right for stock injectors. I got high idle, tow/economy and extreme. Tony is also a very good option. As good as Dp in my opinion
