The windshield on my 74 Ranger has a haze along the bottom edge, especially in the corners. The windshield is in good shape otherwise. What causes this (other than age) Is it a surface issue that can be buffed out or is this some molecular level stuff that warrants replacing?

 

That haze is on the inside between the layers of glass due to age. The only remedy is replacement or live with it.
