power brake install 67 pickup
I have a 67 F100 with drums on front. Really wimpy to stop when towing my boat. I know 67's have smaller front drums than 68 or newer. Can I just add a power brake booster? Do I have to change the master cylinder or proportioning valve? Will power drum brakes actually give more stopping power or just make the pedal easier to push?
My other 67 F100 has 73 front discs. With that truck I only had to install a vacuum booster & master cylinder. Works really good.

I had power drum/drum on my truck for a while and they worked really good. You will need an 8 inch booster and a dual chamber MC with 7/8th inch spool and a splitter (looks like a combination valve). But after all that I'd just do power disks!
