one is from stans headers goggle it up he has 2 sizes you need the smaller i understand. and the other is from flomaster y250300 and can be purchased from summit racing as #flo-y250300 for $39.88 plus shipping and taxes of course

maybe we can hit monsta up for a tech type stickie were we can input parts numbers of products and what we thought useing only the words great! good! helpfull! or bad!. meaning stay away.
maybe it can be with in the guide lines to also input where it came from?.
It looks like your in CA. I have not had a smog check yet so I can't say whether or not these Y-pipe mods are smog legal. The Stan's is less intrusive shall we say, so only a purchase of a factory y-pipe will get you back to stock. If you go the flowmaster route, and cut off the cat flange to put it on, the smog guy may not like that. New cat plus y-pipe could be big $$$$ Somethings to keep in mind when doing the y-pipe mod.
Monsta, I agree that it shouldn't effect what comes out the tail pipe, but we have a visual inspection also. Nice to hear you didn't have to cut the flange. Is your flange behind the cross member? Mine is in front of the cross memember. I thought I remember seeing a flowmaster job using the long pipe after the Y going past the cross member.
pipes can be cut as you and i both well know. the flowmaster being also of a universal design means cut and fit as needed. that long end is to long any way.
Antelope! do you still have stans web site and part numbers yet and was it you that had to send for a second one of a differnet size?.

AH! See we don't have an tailpipe sniffers or lookers here.
I have been wanting to do the y pipe thing for a while BUT I cant seem to find enough info to support doing it or not. Some peeps say worth it some say I lost low end torque, most information on here has been inconclusive
There was no part number on the invoice, just Ford v-10 y-pipe.
As far as loosing low end torque, I didn't lose any. Not confirmed by a dyno but by just driving it. As I posted and others have too, I can pull hills in OD without the tranny downshifting as before. If I lost low end, I doubt it would do that.
You also have the option of having an exhaust shop just fab one up for you, it'll cost little to nothing but if you have the visusal inspection thing they'll hace to make it a real clean job! I have photos in my gallery of one that I ahd fabed by an exhaust shop, just besure to be very explicit and descriptive about how you want it. Mine turned out all right but I would have changed a thing or two about how they did it if I could go back. and JFYI, no flutter from mine yet!
