What would you do?

I was just checking in on the MO chapter and slmann had asked over there "If you had the money, and all of your other financial responsibilities were taken care of, what would you do to your truck?"

I thought was a great question, but I don't belong to the MO chapter.
If the money thing wasn't an object, I'd actually spend for a good early Bronco from below the Mason Dixon Line. And let the mods begin.
If I had to concentrate on the vehicle I already have, then; replace and re-chrome all the goodies that need repair, move gas tank, new tranny, maybe a lift kit, for starters.

So, what would you do?

No reason you couldn't be part of the Mo chapter, you're close enough to make it work anyway... But for me, my current truck, would go with a turbo, and probably a Gear Vendors overdrive. Then the body also needs to be reworked... but for any truck, I would probably rework my dad's extended cab, turbo it, overdirve the same, mostly same story as my own, but I actually hope to start reworking it sometime in the near future, at least get it running better and get the brakes and such better...

I would get a CC F350 for a daily driver and black it out (tint, wheels, stacks, ect) and then I would turn my current truck into a play toy. Headstuds, gaskets, firerings, BDP injectors, BDP turbo, DJ's fuel system, SunCoast or John Woods trans.

I would also like to do a Cummins conversion in a SuperDuty.

I would do a frame off restoration of my 1985 F-250 but keep it pretty original, then I would buy a 1978 F-250 4x4 put a built 460 in it, lift it, swampers, etc. also I would love to have a 1997 F-250 Powerstroke diesel 4x4 extended cab longbox, preferably white, although a Superduty with a 7.3 liter Powerstroke would be cool also. I like my F-250's. Can't do to much to my Ranger since it's new but I think I could spring for a new set of wheels (base Ford Ranger steel wheels )

Wow. Hah, where do you start? I'd keep my body exactly as it is, maybe do a blackout on the grill/doors and all that junk. It's be sporting a 600+ci 460 stroker, fully rollerized and build C6. I'd just kinda head up to Rob, ask him how much money that would take and how much he wanted and let him have at it. Then I'd just skip straight to 2.5T Rock's detroited, disced, chromo'd and sprung by coilover 4link + panhard - probably give Seth and Ivan a call on that. Again, same thing just call them and ask how much that would cost and how much they want for doing it and let them have at it. Hyrdro steer, hydro brake, blah blah. Probably go with either 46" Claws, 47" LTB's (Nice damn tires...), or maybe one of those and then Ag's too. 203/205 divorced doubler setup with a hyrdro winch for the front in my prerunner style bumper and fully integrated electric concealed in the rear bumper.

Pfft...what you talkin about? I've not given this any thoughts. Nah...I actually had this crazy-azz dream about that once. Dad one the lottery and gave me a crapload of money. So...all the guys I know in the 4x4/offroad forum all had like different things that they did, and then I like covered cost of getting everybody together someplace. And....Seth still managed to get Carnage of the Year. Go figure. I thought it'd be Ivan!

Find a guy that does good body work and have him go over the entire truck. Then paint it. Then pay him whatever he wants for it. It's not the "rusty70f100" for nothing!
