I think we need to have someone take a tally of who will attend and where they are coming from, then make a decision on a central location.
If you want you can PM me and I will do it or maybe sglaine wants to handle it..

Just a thought..

I know I am going to try and attend..

Well I agree there. And one can hope maybe we could get some interest out of CT. on this and hope that maybe more would show up.

But keep in mind that the people up there in Maine. We have not seen them because of the long drive for them.

And with the price of gas keeps going up and up I think that might put a damper on folks coming out to be with us.

We could do an afternoon at Six Flags too if we meet out that way.

I said what he owns..... Chebby honda and Harley..... I think he's been through at least 30 cars sence he was 16 and he's now 30. A few have been fords and the fords lasted longer than some of the chebby's he's had. I liked his 77 F150 with 9" of lift 35" tires and 460ci motor, he could chirp the tires at 55mph... He also got from Exeter (Rt 101 Exit 9) to Hampton Beach in 5 minutes in that truck once(back in '94 or '95).

As for 6 Flags. Its a great idea but I probably would't be able to make it.

do you mean I91 & I291????

If we're meeting at that Hooters than I'm out. It's about 2.5 hrs for me to get there.

I'll do Worchester tho. Only 1.5 hrs. and I might be bringing the Focus(30+mpg). Yes I am having a serious issue with gas.

We need to decide where exactly we are meeting and who will be attending.

And my history with 6 flags is not that great. I drove to six flags Ma once for a meet from Burlington VT. I meet everyone and got in under the group rate (some late comers had to pay full price) and than after maybe 30 minutes talking to everyone we all split up and did are own thing in the park. We were supposed to meet up at 4 or 5 pm (can't remember right now) at the front gate. I got there and no one(from the group I meet) was there. Waited 20 minutes or so and than drove around the parking lots and found no one. Come to find out(later on the message board) they all took off like 30 minutes before we were supposed to meet. I had fun and all and brought my own crew but the meet ended up being a bust for me. I feel where we(FTE New England) are still meeting people and some are still strangers to others that the 6 flags thing might not work out, unless there was plenty of planning and set times for everything which we all know dosen't always work out.
Thats just my input on the idea and as always majority rules

Ok May 20th Hooters Manchester N.H. 3:30 pm. June and the rest of the Summer we will be going to other areas. Around New England. And that will happen because of the travel for these other guys in the chapter and the price of fuel to get around.

And keep in mind that we do have a very large chapter and we need to be fair with everyone. And also get more involved in the Chapter. We need to make this thing grow.

Manchester NH may be a bit far for me, but really want to get involed with some TRUCK people. So, let me know, if you guys get one closer. Or I can talk the girlfriend into a road trip sometime. It's been a though tranisition for me coming from WY where trucks are the Majority of the vehicle on the road to a place where my little red trucks sticks out like a sore thumb.
