Leveling KIt F250

I am sure that this topic has been beaten to death but I am fairly new to this site and do not get to visit alot. Let me give a little back ground on my situtation. I drive a 2005 F250 FX4. I want to put a 2" leveling kit (I have been looking at the Trail Master 2" kit). I am not partial to a certain one but I want 2" kit and not a 2.5".
I called a local suspension place and they told me, in some many words, that they have had problems with the 2" leveling kits. I had to pry the info about what was wrong with out of this sales guy. He told me that the casters are the main problem.
He gave a price for a leveling kit, I think a Rancho, for about 900 dollars. The 2" leveling kits that I have seen on the internet for about 250 dollars. These kits include spacers and longer shocks.
I believe that this guy was just trying to get an extra 600 dollars out of me. Does anyone have any info about these 2" leveling kits. Will they harm my truck? I am not to worried about ride because this truck is heavy and is not supposed to ride like a mini van.
Thanks in advance
