Saw it, been there. I didn't feel like waiting in like a 4 hour line for it. I had already waited in line for 7 hours for 3 rides and only the Millinium Force was worth it.
It's pretty crazy looking though. An interisting tidbit is that it doesn't always make the hill. So you launch up, stop short, and then fall back only to be launched again. It happens pretty often actually. I saw it happen plenty of times while I was there last.
IMO-Cedar Point is the best ammusement park in the world.
I live in Michigan and usually get down to Ohio to go to Cedar Point once or twice every summer. Rode that ride 3 times this past summer and man is it a rush! Once you get past the part of being scared its a pure adrenaline rush for a good 10 minutes after you get off. Tons of Fun!
Unfortunately I didnt see anyone like the last picture, that would have been pretty funny.
The lines at amusement parks are miserable. They even have twisty exit ramps to slow down everyone. Even if nobody was in line it would take 30 minutes to get on and off a ride. The entire parks are set up so you can't get somewhere from anywhere. Personally I am thru going to them and I LOVE a good roller coaster... The "Six Flags" brand parks are the absolute worst, a real waste of $$$.
Usually I try to go at the end of the season, before they start shutting the rides down, and on a Wednesday. I usually walk right on.
Paramount's Kings Island is right up the road from me and on Wednesdays you walk on everything. The only problem is that they are way behind on good coasters. They make all the stupid theme rides for thier crappy movies.
That thing is nuts, I live about a half hour from Cedar Point. Top thrill dragster will take ya from 0-120 in like 2-3 seconds. I've lucked out so many times goin there and gettin right on somehow. One time right after it rained we happened to walk by right as it opened back up and got on it. Other than that though I don't wait in line, the wait for that thing is 3-4 hours. If anyone is ever in Ohio I highly recommend Cedar Point to ya. Even the smaller rides that aren't much of a wait are awesome. Ticket prices are a bit steep though, I dunno about other parks, but it just seems expensive to me. Most people around here just get a pass, go 3 times and its payed off
