does the term cvrx valves mean anything to any one just curious cause i found a pair of 73 heads for 351w in the junk yard and the guy over there told me the valve number was cvr-x any help

Sounds like he's either blowing smoke or you misunderstood him. He's probably more used to ricers and all their cute little letter names and thought he'd throw that in there to see if you'd bite.
The stock valves in a '74 351W are nothing special, they were 1.84/1.54 in diameter. I don't know of any replacement valves with a name like that.
