my 10,000 lb 1 ton diesel superduty 4X4 uses 4 shocks and does 85 mph..

but a toy yoda mall crawler needs 20 shocks to tackle the potholes at 2 mph.
something is wrong with this picture.
and that "thing" looks like...

or maybe i am just getting too dang old.

I sent the guy a question saying I'll give him 500 bucks to take it off his hands.

I'll let you fellas know what he says back, if he writes back.

It's embarrassing that the person who built that truck is from the same state I am. I do agree with him on one point, though....... he spent well over three times what he should have to wind up with a worthless pile of junk. He could probably get the same money from just selling the shocks on ebay

I have to say, even though the TH400 seems like a pretty bad choice to put behind a V6 (considering how much power you lose through a 400), I DO like the idea of a Buick 231 in a Toyota. That's about the only redeeming feature, I think.

FWIW, I have to think that those shocks would bind with just the slightest amount of travel.

the shocks can't travel on that truck. it's a matter of physics. a toyota barely has enough weight to compress 4 shocks, let alone 24, just rip the spring packs off that baby and at least lighten it up!! LMAO
