I wonder what will actually happen. I seems very soon from dead to back to production. Us who drive Super Duties are in big trouble with gasoline power plants. Ford is killing off the V10 in strict emmission states ans servery reducing the number of 5.4's available in Super Duties in those states also. Somethings has to give. Diesels are not for everyone. A new gasser engine or a lower emmission "modular" is the only two steps.
The F-150 dont need a new power plant except for "More Power" reasons. Us Super Duty owners have no choice, we NEED a new power plant.
The states of CA, MA, NY, VT, ME, and newly added (captchas) NJ have no sufficient gasolile engine after the 2006's are gone. We will have to suffer in 2007 and HOPEFULLY when the ALL NEW Super Duty is released in early 2007 (2008 model year) we will have a good alternative. As much as we love out V10's I feel they are extinct
