Thought you guys might like to see some pics from our outing to Irwindale last night. The club got two laps behind the pace car before the race. Told us not to do burn outs, but the crowd does like to see them. Most did their best to give the crowd want they wanted. It was a nice night. Enjoy. You might see more pics in the next Trucks Mag.
That Rocks, I am hoping to be able to do something like that @ the Indianapolis Motor Speedway when mine is done. With my old job I have been on the track a number of times, Touched the yard of bricks and felt the goose bumps up and down my spine, I want to see what it feels like to run some rubber over the bricks!
The pics are awesome Ed, I've found that the F100 truck is beautiful by itself, but when there's more than one, it becomes awesome and a beautiful sight to behold. I know you told me about the event, sure wish I would of gone now. Of course, had I gone, you and your buddies would of had a tough time keeping up with me on the track.... J/K
Our local old truck club is called "Midnight Sun Classic Tailgaters". We don't have races and events on your scale to go to, but I'm looking forward to some cool get togethers nonetheless. I think I'm the only one in the club with an old Effy. Most are Chevy guys. Am I allowed to use that word here?
