73 302 vacuum routing questions

73 F100 302/2v 3spd on the column, no a/c

After looking at Mil1on's vacuum diagram......

On my truck I have the following:

1. Vac advance goes to a tee. One of the lines on the tee goes to the carb. The other is blocked off. Should the blocked off tee goto the EGR valve? EGR valve is not hooked up.

2. On the 2 port Vacuum Control Valve (Comes off the cooling system) both ports are not connected. It appears somebody bypassed it by putting a 3 inch vac line from one port to the other. What's function of this port? Where do the lines go?

What's the correct routing for these? Thanks.

Most of The diagrams I have are of 77/78/79 trucks which will be a lot more elaborate than A 73.

I hava simple diagram somewhere that would probably apply to yours.

Check my gallery for a 1973 302 vacuum diagram. I have a 1973 F100 with a 302 and an auto tranny. When I pulled the engine to rebuild it, I wrote down the vacuum line setup and it was the original setup from the factory. I posted a picture of that diagram in my gallery.

Even though it's a 73, the auto with air options are different than mine. I do appreciate your help. I need the manual set-up.
