readings on new gauges

I have a question. I put my gauges in today and boy isn't that a treat. Anyway they all work, but the boost reads really low I think. 0-2 at idle and at 2k rpm 5-7. I opened it up getting on the freeway and at 3k it almost hit twenty. Ther are autometer sport comp gauges. My buddy has a Dodge, but it uses 16-20 pounds of boost around town. I put the pyro in the down tube bacause the bung was already there and I was too chicken to drill the manifold. Around town stop and go 35-45 mph my EGT was 400 and the trans temp was 125. Let me know what you think.

Those figures sound about right.

yes, it is amazing how much boost i can get to show on the gauge on my 6.0. in stock form, it will pull 10 pounds accelerating very mildly with a stone cold engine. when the vanes stick shut sometimes, i can see 24 psi on the same conditions, just accelerating (downhill) with a light foot). let out and you get the chuffa chuffa chuffaa
