I will be buying one of two E350 diesels. The 1st is a 2003 7.3 extended cargo with a Quigley conversion. It has 40,000 miles. The other is a 2005 2wd 6.0 extended cargo with 150 miles.
I will be pulling a 17.5' Bigfoot trailer. The vans will have a half length freezer insert carrying 2000 to 4000 ibs of frozen salmon. I am confused with all the posts I have read regarding the reliability of the 6.0. I have heard good things about the 7.3 but I don't know how much difference the 4wd conversion will affect the mpg. If anybody cares to give me their 2 cents worth I would appreciate it. I am leaning towards the 2005 beacause of low mileage and warranty issues. Thanks, Chip
