power cylinder replacement

can some one tell me what steering stabilizer shock i can put on my truck to replace the power assist power cylinder without using the kit that they offer.its on a 1975 ford f250 thanks

The power assist brackets don't exactly lend themselves to a shock absorber that well. I'd gladly trade you a steering stabilizer setup for your power assist setup!
