well i had gotten a deal on some headers a few years back. i knew they would fit the motor and that was all i was concerned with(i was in high school auto class). to make a long story short i spent about 2 weeks trying to get those to work, not sure if what they were for, but you can get truck headers cheap. unless someone else has already done that swap id just be safe and get the ones for your truck.
Depends on the flange bolt patterns. If the headers have the same verticle pattern as the heads on your truck, they will bolt on. My concern would be that they may come up a little on the short side as far as the drop, since in a car you are concerned with ground clearance....
you can get a set of dynomax headers, the cheap ones mind you, for about $125 through summit. they have 5/16 flanges and fit real nice. it might be worth the extra cash for a drop in affair...

I wish they were drop in. I spent almost 8 hours trying to get my dynomax headers onto my truck. I had to lift the engine, remove starter, relocate brake lines, and hack up the tranny crossmember to get these things to fit. After that, trying to get the starter back on is a great big PITA. If my starter ever blows up, it will take 4 hours to fix because I will have to take the headers off to get to it, which means I will have to get new gaskets for the headers.
Didn't you know? Its the law. Nobody gets off that easy. 5 minute job, could take all day! PITA like no other.

yeah i have cheap flowtec headers and i have to have my starter and header loose at the same time to get either of them out. its a pain, but im getting pretty good at it, got it down to 20 min or so
