Question Bronco Jack

Will a 2 ton jack be enough to jack my 1992 Bronco? I want to carry jack with me for tire changing (I HATE those stock screw type jacks). Thanks all

That should be enough. I have used them many times before. The one I carry is a hydrolic cylinder jack rated at 2.5 tons. I have two floor jacks one rated at 2 tons and the other rated at 3 tons. I still carry the factory one because it has a factory spot and you never know when you might need it. I agree though, the factory ones pretty much suck.

I bought a 2 1/4 ton craftsman floor jack at Sears, in a plastic caring case for under $30.00 When I helped a friend change a flat on a newly paved flat parking lot, it took two people to keep the truck on the bottle jack with it extended out while I changed the tire. After that tire change I went to Sears the next day and bought my little floor jack, it's been great it stays in the Bronco all the time. The Bronco weighs about 5100lbs. and your only jacking up one corner at a time, so you'll be good to go.
