extended idle
I have two questions for any one kind enough to respond. First, now that I have the high idle mod on my '06 F350 PSD, manual tranny, is it safe to idle at 1200 rpm for long periods of time? Say a half hour or more while running a power inverter. Second, how does the PTO on the man. trans. work? Is there a splined shaft turning all the time behind the access on the tranny, or is it somehow engaged and disengaged electronically? Thanks, John
