HELP!!! Harmonic Balancer

HELP!!! I have just installed a new harmonic balancer on my new 351w but it is about 3/16" away from the front seal. I this the norm or should it go on further?

Is it the same size as the old one? Did you tighten it to the proper torque? And what was the gap with the old one?

If your answers are yes, yes, I don't know then I would think it is okay and is safe to run. Otherwise, find a truck like yours and take a look at the balancer and see what the space is on it.
