i traded for a 96 f-350 xlt powerstroke. drove it one day and it cut off and has yet to start. had it scaned and showed code p1128 injector driver module bought reman nothing replaced cam sensor nothing replaced pcm nothing replaced seliond on oil pump nothing replaced mec. fuel pump and checked all fuzes any body got any sugestions
Try and give us some details on what the truck is doing.
Does it turn over at all?
Does it smoke while trying to start?
Have you checked all of the fuses? In cab and under hood?
Do your glow plugs activate?
Is it spinning over FAST or SLOW?
The more information that you can give about the symptons, the better we can help.
if you plug in the block heater, it will take about 2 hrs to heat the water jacket for starting. Also, if cranking slow, charge the batteries individually. The power strokes use lots of electrical power to get going. You also want to make sure that you got the right cam sensor, somewhere there was a change up in part numbers.
new set of batteries turns over real fast. does not smoke went trying to crank its like the injectors are not firing. truck was running real good when it just died. checked all glow plugs checked good even bypassed glow plug relay didn't work. checked for codes nothing showed. thanks for any help
i've checked fuzes ok checked oil pressure on high pressure oil pump 25 psi it has been changed before it had a reman sticker on it .are there lots of problems with these.i know it needs 500psi to crack the injectors.thank guys

Before you throw a new HPOP at it, pull the IPR valve and see if it's blown an o-ring.
what i mean is disconnect both hpo lines at the head from hpop that go to hpo rails. cap one of them and install a gauge on the uncapped line. if you only did one side you may have a bad injector oring on the other side letting all your oil get by. i would test pressure this way to be sure.
if so and it was bad i guess you know what you need to do. if it was me i would buy the """crm 17*""" pump and put that on instead of a 15* stocker. just my .02
