fuel filter

do I need any special tool to replace the fuel filter on 2000 mdl powerstroke

Dangle-What would you use those for? To get the cover off? A big screwdriver put in between the fins works fine for me. Other than that no special tools needed. Well, maybe some hand cleaner to get the diesel fuel smell off your hands. =)

I actually use the special socket for removing that goofy nut that holds the front hub from my old Half-ton....not a perfect fit, but it seems to work for me in taking off that fuel-filter cover...
