92 Bronco Vin Number

I just bought a 1992 Bronco with the 302 and 5 speed trans. I've only had it for a day but can already tell its going to be a great truck (What else can you expect from Ford) I've looked but I can't find the vin codes could someone else there decipher my VIN

There are some VIN decoders online, and a search of the forums will give you the links or check the tech articles. In reality, only one character is important in the VIN, that's the 8th one. The letter "N" signifies the 5.0L V8 in your 92 Bronco (U15). The more pertinent info is in the safety code sticker on the rear driver's-side door jamb or B-pillar. It lists your GVWR, trans code ("E" for E4OD), axle code ("19" for Ford 8.8", 3.55 gear ratio), and paint or tape/pinstripe codes. If you have a 5-spd manual tranny, it's prolly the M5OD.
