Oil Cooler
I have a 1996 f-250 with 5.8 eng equip.with factory oil cooler I have been searching for an oil leak that I think is coming from the oil cooler oil filter adapter at the eng. block.My local Ford dearler tells me I have to replace the block cooler adapter that the seal is not avalible seperate.My thinking is if it is mounted at the oil filter boss on the block and then you install oil filter that an o-ring off an oil filter may work.Has anyone experiance with this?? Thanks
