cleaning off bug splatter

what's a goodway to keep a chrome bumber shiney and mke leaning up bug slatter easier. right now i just rub it hard with a wax, but every weekend after driving 250km on the highway it gets kind of pointless

After cleaning the bumper real well. Try coating it with a little silicone spray lube on a rag or paper towel. You could use WD-40 but it won't stay on long enough :-)

Here in Fla we have problems with love bugs zillions of them. I take a rag and a jar of vasaline wipe my bumper and grill with a thin coat,and since mine is a 79 model i also do the front of the hood cause those little buggars will eat the paint.

if it's only for an occasional trip...spray the hood grill an bumper with pam cooking spray...makes them easy to clean up...

Hey Wiz... when exactly is the love bug season... I remember a trip to Mobile last year and we got covered up...couldn't even see out the windshield... but I don't rmemeber spring ?? fall ?? what month ??
