i have an 02 f350...5.4 auto. when the truck shifts into overdrive, it feels like you are driving over rumble strips on the side of the road, but only when it is shifting "hard". is this something common and is there a fix? thanks alot for the help
Can be Torque converter or epc (electronic pressure control ) within tranny.
Has fluid been changed?
How many miles?
Take it to a tranny shop that you trust.

Same here with my '02 5.4. I only use the OD when I am on the highway, and can easily cruise at 70 mph. My truck has 46K on it. I think its pretty common.
