This is the first forum I've been a member of. I've done a lot of reading here, and have found some answears without asking. I decided I would join just for the help.
I purchased a 1980 F150 in Jan 06. I plan on getting this thing back in shape. It's in pretty rough shape at this time. I'm mainly doing the mechanical parts at this time. I have to be a weekend warrior due to having to drive this truck to work every day. Now all my projects have to be started and finished within a weekend. This makes for slow progress on getting the major stuff repaired. I don't know a lot about engines, but I'm becoming a fast learner, more out of want to rather than need to.
I've already decided that if I get another truck, I'll keep this one just for a hobby.

We are happy to have you! There is a ton of great info on this site. But, before you go snooping around there are a few things you need to do first.
1) Want to meet or talk to other members in your area? There are Provincial, State and International Chapters located near the bottom of the main forum page.
2) Before you post a thread asking a question be especially aware of where (what forum) to place it in. FTE is HUGE! Make sure you read the Read First: at the top of the forum before you go posting.
3) And finally you should review the Guidelines. They will kind of give you an idea of what is and isn't allowed on this site ("The Rules").
