EFI Inline six question

Can an older inline six from a (1984) f-150 be swapped into a (1988) EFI inline six f-150? Do I need to change the head from the 88 to the block of the 84? This is what I've heard? Thanks for any help in advance.

Did you search the forum? I think it has been discussed before. Are you wanting to put EFI on the 1984 engine?

Yes that is what I'm trying to do! New to the forum thing and not sure how to search just yet. Thanks for the response.

Give it a bit of time. There are those around here that know a lot more about ins and outs of such things. I am not totally certain if it can be done.
