Supercab F-series from this era (like my '91) had a folding rear seat that was too close to the floor to be comfortable. There used to be a common aftermarket product (pair of brackets) that raised the seat up and still allowed it to fold. I can't find these for sale any more. Does anyone here know where I can get a set of these brackets?
JCW does have them. You might be able to go to a salvage yard and get the bracketry out of a 95 ish extended cab. I think in the 92-96 body style the rear seat is raised up.

Not in my 92... the seat cushion literally sits on the floor.
I remember our 85 extended cab seat was on the floor. A friend of mine has a 96 or 97 F250 extended cab and the back seat in it is almost normal height. His came that way. I don't know what year they started correcting that problem. If you ask me they never should have made it that low to begin with.
Thanks for the tip on JC Whitney. That sounds like the kind of thing they would carry. However, I checked their website and couldn't find these parts. Maybe I didn't look in the right place or maybe they are only in the print catalog (which I don't have).
So I started googleing every combination of words I could think of and found a reference to Hi-Rider Seat Kits from LMI Welding. They still make the rear seat brackets for my truck plus they have models for Fords from 1973 to 2003.
